The feisty Honda Fit beat out the competition for a spot on the prestigious Car and Driver 10Best List again for 2008. In sizing up the Fit, Car and Driver could not deny its impressively big smallness: “Not only does the Fit deliver what you expect—high MPG numbers and low ownership costs—but it also delivers something you might not: high-quality interior appointments, a high level of usefulness, and a high fun-to-drive factor.”*

Cars.com established the Lifestyle Awards to recognize which vehicles were best suited for the lifestyle needs of today's car buyers. After an exhaustive analysis, the 2007 Honda Fit was named the “Best Deal for First-Time Drivers.”
The Fit is another example of the Honda commitment to safety. The 2007 Honda Fit has earned a "5-Star" safety rating for frontal crash performance from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). * And the Fit has the highest level of standard safety equipment of any car in its competitive set.

*Government star ratings are part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (http://www.safercar.gov/).

After driving over 100 of the newest cars, trucks and sport-utility vehicles and amassing over 100,000 miles in the process, the automotive editors at Popular Mechanics have honored the Honda Fit with their Excellence Award for Value.
Car and Driver magazine conducted a comparison test of the new crop of subcompacts, and guess who ranked best? The Honda Fit Sport outperformed the competition—including the Dodge Caliber, Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Reno, Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio—on their 1,000-mile Ohio adventure.
